Jason B. Sherry

Jason B. Sherry is an experienced litigator. He represents clients ranging from individuals to publicly traded corporations in complex commercial and real estate litigation. Recognized as one of South Florida’s Top 40 Lawyers Under 40, Mr. Sherry attended New York University School of Law and then joined Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, a premier international law firm in New York, where he worked for the first four years of his career. A frequent writer, Mr. Sherry has written in publications such as Bloomberg and, in 2016, received the Burton Award for Distinguished Legal Writing, a prestigious award jointly presented by the U.S. Library of Congress and American Bar Association that recognizes significant achievements in legal scholarship.

Mr. Sherry was appointed in 2019 by the President of The Florida Bar to serve on the Civil Procedure Rules Committee, the statewide committee of lawyers and judges that proposes revisions of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure to the Florida Supreme Court. In 2018, Mr. Sherry was appointed by Chief Judge Moore of the Southern District of Florida to serve on the Southern District of Florida Local Rules Committee. Mr. Sherry also serves as Chairman of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee 11P, on the Campaign Committee of Legal Services for Greater Miami, as a Board of Director on the NYU Law Alumni Association, on the Board of the Cystic Firbosis Foundation, and on the Business Litigation Committee of The Florida Bar. Mr. Sherry is admitted to practice in the Southern District of Florida, the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second and Eleventh Circuits.
